Cromwell, Central Otago
The strategic location of Cromwell has been recognised for some time by leading logistics companies as a result of changes to the main freight routes between Christchurch and the Region.
For companies servicing operations in Queenstown, Wanaka and Alexandra, Cromwell has obvious advantages with relatively short travel distances to each of these centers. Economic and population growth in the region has seen significant pressure on available land suitable for industrial and particularly warehouse development in Queenstown and Wanaka. Equally increasing living costs and particularly housing costs have placed pressures on working families in the main tourist centers.
Hence the emergence of Cromwell as a cost effective location to employ staff and secure cost effective business premises for which to effectively service a rapidly growing region.
Arrowstone are developing the Corner Precinct and McNulty Central in Cromwell for long term investment.
The Corner Precinct is well located in Pinot Noir Drive within the industrial area of Cromwell with significant business activity within close proximity. Much of the industrial land around Cromwell is used for heavy industry, however the precinct along McNulty Road and running into Pinot Noir Drive has become the main focus for national and local companies concerned to present a professional image and to provide quality accommodation to attract and retain key staff.
